What is the Keroack Composite Rating
The Keroack Rating is a composite of the KenPom and Sagarin ratings. I spent several hours researching each rating system (including NET, SOR, and BPI) and found that the KenPom and Sagarin ratings have the most merit as rating mechanisms.
I basically converted the KenPom and Sagarin ratings to an index of 0 – 100 and then calculated the weighted average, giving slightly more importance to the KenPom rating. This is a true index. The best team is rated 100. The worst team is rated 0. An average team is rated 50.
